BookPod App – Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the BookPod Shopify app ("the App"), operated by BookPod Ltd. (company no. 516922655, Shtner 7, Jerusalem, Israel) ("BookPod", "we"), handles data of merchants who install it and of their customers. The App connects a Shopify store to the BookPod print-on-demand service so that books sold in the store are printed and shipped.

1. Data we access and store

• Store and account data: the shop domain, the Shopify access token and OAuth session (including the name and email of the staff user who logged in, when provided by Shopify).
• BookPod credentials and settings: the BookPod username and token you enter in the App, and the shipping and order-routing options you choose.
• Products: Shopify product IDs, titles and status, linked to BookPod book IDs.
• Orders: order ID and number, status, total price and currency, and the customer's name and email, kept so the merchant can follow each order's progress.
• Customer data received in order webhooks: name, email, phone number, and shipping and billing address. These details are used to create the order at BookPod and are not otherwise stored by the App beyond the name and email listed above.

2. How we use the data

• To send orders that contain BookPod books to BookPod for printing and delivery, and to update the order's status back in Shopify.
• To sync products between your store and BookPod, and to operate the App's settings.
• To provide support and to keep the App secure and working.
• We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.

3. Who we share data with

• BookPod print-on-demand service (the order fulfilment provider): receives order and shipping details in order to print and deliver the books.
• Shopify: the platform the App runs on.
• Google Cloud: hosting and database infrastructure used to run the App.
• We may disclose data where required by law.

4. Retention and deletion

• When the App is uninstalled, the store's session data is deleted immediately.
• In response to Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks, we delete all data held for a store (orders, products, settings and sessions) after the shop-redact request, and we erase a customer's name and email from our order records after a customer-redact request.
• Customer data requests are answered with the information described in section 1; the App holds no customer profile beyond it.

5. Security

• Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access to the App's database is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data.

6. Your rights

• Merchants and their customers may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, subject to applicable law (including the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, and the GDPR where applicable). Customers can also make requests through the store they bought from.

7. Changes to this policy

• We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest revision.

מדיניות זו מתארת כיצד אפליקציית BookPod ל-Shopify ("האפליקציה"), המופעלת על ידי בוקפוד בע"מ (ח.פ. 516922655, שטנר 7, ירושלים) ("בוקפוד", "אנחנו"), מטפלת במידע של סוחרים שהתקינו אותה ושל הלקוחות שלהם. האפליקציה מחברת חנות Shopify לשירות ההדפסה לפי דרישה של בוקפוד, כדי שספרים שנמכרים בחנות יודפסו וישלחו.

1. מידע שאנו ניגשים אליו ושומרים

• נתוני חנות וחשבון: כתובת החנות (shop domain), אסימון הגישה של Shopify וסשן OAuth (כולל שם ודוא"ל של איש הצוות שהתחבר, אם Shopify מספקת אותם).
• פרטי התחברות והגדרות בוקפוד: שם המשתמש והטוקן של בוקפוד שהוזנו באפליקציה, ואפשרויות המשלוח וניתוב ההזמנות שנבחרו.
• מוצרים: מזהי מוצרים, כותרות וסטטוס ב-Shopify, המקושרים למזהי ספרים בבוקפוד.
• הזמנות: מזהה ומספר הזמנה, סטטוס, סכום ומטבע, ושם ודוא"ל הלקוח, כדי שהסוחר יוכל לעקוב אחר התקדמות כל הזמנה.
• נתוני לקוח שמתקבלים ב-webhook של הזמנות: שם, דוא"ל, טלפון וכתובת משלוח וחיוב. הפרטים משמשים ליצירת ההזמנה בבוקפוד, ואינם נשמרים באפליקציה מעבר לשם ולדוא"ל שצוינו לעיל.

2. כיצד אנו משתמשים במידע

• לשליחת הזמנות המכילות ספרי בוקפוד אל בוקפוד להדפסה ולמשלוח, ולעדכון סטטוס ההזמנה ב-Shopify.
• לסנכרון מוצרים בין החנות לבוקפוד ולהפעלת הגדרות האפליקציה.
• למתן תמיכה ולשמירה על אבטחת האפליקציה ותקינותה.
• איננו מוכרים מידע אישי ואיננו משתמשים בו לפרסום או לשיווק.

3. עם מי אנו משתפים מידע

• שירות ההדפסה של בוקפוד (ספק מילוי ההזמנות): מקבל פרטי הזמנה ומשלוח כדי להדפיס ולספק את הספרים.
• Shopify: הפלטפורמה שעליה פועלת האפליקציה.
• Google Cloud: תשתית אירוח ומסד נתונים להפעלת האפליקציה.
• ייתכן שנחשוף מידע כנדרש על פי דין.

4. שמירה ומחיקה

• עם הסרת האפליקציה, נתוני הסשן של החנות נמחקים מיד.
• בתגובה ל-webhooks החובה של Shopify בנושא פרטיות, אנו מוחקים את כל המידע שנשמר עבור החנות (הזמנות, מוצרים, הגדרות וסשנים) לאחר בקשת shop redact, ומוחקים את שם הלקוח ודוא"לו מרשומות ההזמנות לאחר בקשת customer redact.
• בקשות לקבלת מידע על לקוח נענות במידע המתואר בסעיף 1; לאפליקציה אין פרופיל לקוח מעבר לכך.

5. אבטחת מידע

• המידע מועבר בפרוטוקול HTTPS והגישה למסד הנתונים של האפליקציה מוגבלת. אין מערכת מאובטחת לחלוטין, אך אנו נוקטים אמצעים סבירים להגנה על המידע.

6. הזכויות שלך

• סוחרים ולקוחותיהם רשאים לבקש לעיין במידע אישי שבידינו, לתקנו או למחקו, בכפוף לדין החל (לרבות חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ"א-1981, וה-GDPR ככל שהוא חל). לקוחות יכולים גם לפנות דרך החנות שממנה רכשו.

7. שינויים במדיניות

• ייתכן שנעדכן מדיניות זו מעת לעת. התאריך בראש העמוד מציין את העדכון האחרון.
